I’m usually the tallest person in a room of people. I’m also the only black male in my circle of friends (all white). My best friend got married last year, and I was the only black person there. I was the best man. My best friend is 5’5″. All the other groomsmen were about 5’6 to 5’8′. Everyone else was of course, shorter than me. Why is it that, a year later, when I see these same people at a party that I am hosting at my own house for the couple’s 1 year anniversary, the common phrase among them is, “where have I seen you before? I’ve seen you somewhere!” When to me, it can’t be anymore obvious then where they’ve seen me since I stick like a sore thumb
